Pumpkin Bread

Makes: 1 loaf

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 2/3 cups flour
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
1 cup canned pumpkin
2 eggs
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Sift dry ingredients together. Place in bowl and add remaining ingredients in order, mixing well. Grease loaf pan and spoon batter in the pan. Bake 75-90 minutes at 325 degrees until toothpick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean.
